This was a fantastic debate! Although it generally revolved around hypothetical situations (possible worlds, feasible worlds, etc), Bradley was able to take Craig to task on own terms better than any other debater before or since. Bradley did a marvelous job of demonstrating (perhaps unintentionally) that Craig's arguments rest entirely on the idea that it is impossible for a world to exist where all people freely get to heaven which he, of course, could not support in any way.

Bradley also did well by noting that Craig presents the idea of people going to hell as similar to people willingly taking a Hawaiian vacation. The difference is that it is more comprable to people willingly going into concentration camps. No one (or at least not as many as the trillions who allegedly end up in hell) would willingly choose to live in a miserable, torturous state for even a temporary stay (let alone all eternity!), and Bradley did well to call Craig out for suggesting as much.

Craig did as well as could be expected in defending his point, although as I noted his defense rested on the sandy foundation of proving that something could be possible for an all-powerful being yet somehow still be unfeasible for it. In the end relied heavily on his ability to assert his points as obviously true and his opponent's points as blatantly false with the confidence only a man of faith can possess.

I would argue that Bradley was the clear winner of this debate. I am quite pleased to be able to say this because, while I generally disagree with Dr. Craid on all counts, he has a well-deserved reputation for defending his arguments & tearing down those of his opponents with deadly precision. If you've ever wanted to see someone take the great William Lane Craig to school, this is the debate for you!
