A.C. Grayling is a Reader in Philosophy at Birkbeck College, University of London. He has also written many books including a biography of William Hazlitt. He also writes in the Guardian newspaper, Literary Review, Financial Times, Observer, Economist, Times Literary Supplement Independent on Sunday, New Statesmen and a frequent broadcaster on BBC Radio 4,3 and world service.
