Neville Cawas Cyrus Bardoliwalla BSc (Hons) - 10/12/09 04:18:48 - 81.105.119.188My late Father Cawas jehangirji Bardoliwalla was a highly acclaimed student at The Sir J.J.B.P. Institution to be the highest amongst those who passed the S.S.C Examination in Bombay 1953 and following completion of his Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 1st class Honours he earnt himself a Scholarship by the Ex-students Jubilee Fund and furthered his studies at Londons Imperial College of Science and Technology. He worked under the auspices of Professor Spalding CBE who was head of Mechanical Engineering in the field of Heat Transfer and Rocket Combustion. My father was awarded the distinguished DIC ( Diploma of Imperial College ) for his work alongside Professor Spalding and was later to assume the position of Chief Architect at Rolls Royce Motors UK Ltd. Three months before he passed away in 1978 at 44 years my dad was offered the position of Head for the Dept of Aerospace Engineering at Rolls Royce Aerospace Division in Crew.I sincerely hope that members of the parsi community will recognize his exceptional achievements and hopefully be given recognition as an exceptionally talented parsi which stands to make our community proud alongside side other Famous parsee's.
