Steve Strange - 05/13/09 10:13:04 - 98.210.160.132DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS WEBSITE!!! I ordered some bowls from cookworks about a month ago. When the didn't show up for over a week, I got suspicious. My order showed up on their website as "paid", but they never sent anything. I entered a claim against their paypal account. PayPal was apparently unable to contact the recipient of my payment, and they've resolved the issue by not giving my money back (which is a whole other story that I will have to dispute with paypal). The phone numbers on cookworks.com are bogus, and their email goes unanswered. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!! Your money will be gone.
G. Dizon - 05/29/09 19:20:24 - 67.164.65.167DITTO!!!!! I've had the same ?!#$$ experience with this website. I lost $40. God know how much money others have lost from this website. I too got suspicious when I inquired about the availability of my order but never got any response, so I decided to cancel my order. It was too late since my paypal account was already charged. It's been over a month and still no merchandise and I've rec'd no response at all from this sellter. I too filed a claim with paypal and was told the following:
"We have decided in your favor, however, we were unable to recover any funds
from the seller's account. As stated in the PayPal User Agreement, recovery
of funds associated with a Buyer Complaint cannot be guaranteed."
I'm still reeling with my unforunately experience. I'm just glad I found this website to warn others. Yes, order from this website and your hard earned money will be gone. Do your homework before you order from this or any website. I wished I ordered through amazon or yahoo shopping. I might just cancel my paypal because of this incident.
