Snow-Limits.com with Ales Karban
In early January 2000, the Czech musher Ales Karban attempted the first ever winter ascent to the summit of Mont Blanc with his dog-sled and 3 of his highly trained dogs. Despite three grueling days of intense efforts where it was almost up to Ales to carry his dogs and sled, the team was defeated within 200 meters of the summit, by ice so smooth it would have been more appropriate for skating!
