Mission is known for its varied history, from its beginnings, people have been known as very hospitable. Over 30,000 visitors, who we call "Winter Texans", come back home to the great winter weather, friendly people and the proximity to Mexico. This chamber also serves the incorporated cities of Alton, Granjeno, La Joya, Penitas, Palmview, Palmhurst and Sullivan City and the surrounding countryside.
