Pharmacy Compounding: Customizing Prescription Drugs
The pharmacy compounding law, which is part of the FDA Modernization Act of 1997, defines the limits of legitimate compounding. By limiting the scope of the practice, the law aims to protect patients from unnecessary use of compounded drugs.
