Kepler Mission: A Search for Terrestrial Planets
The Kepler Mission is a space mission designed to detect and characterize hundreds of Earth-size planets in the Habitable Zone of a wide variety of stars. The method will look for periodic dimming caused by transits of planets in front of their stars.
