The restoration and ecology of the South Pennine Ring canal. British Waterways aim is to restore and maintain our canals and navigable rivers for both business and leisure users. We also endeavour to regenerate waterways to maximise opportunity for employment and economic improvement, we are currently concentrating our efforts in East Manchester.
