The owner, unknown to us, had some kind of mental breakdown which wasn't at first obvious, but became more so with each passing day. We didn't receive the services we paid for, and ended up being abandoned in a remote campsite in Moremi before we were able to get an emergency flight out to Maun. This woman is seriously disturbed, alcoholic and uses langauge that would make a sailor blush. DO NOT schedule a trip with this company. We have reported her to HATAB who claim to be suspending her license until she gets medical clearance--which will take a long time!
Jacqueline Murphy miller - 10/07/08 03:55:08 - 24.172.122.69In September of 2008 I was part of a small group (6) that contracted with Unlinda Safari. It was an extremely disappointing experience. She did not provide the services listed on her website. The camping gear was not only filthy but completely disorganized. Her demeanor was agitated and she was verbally abusive to her staff and to us. (She does not like Americans.) She would start drinking beer in the late afternoon and then moved on to wine and or whiskey throughout the evening. We have made a formal report to the HATAB in Maun. Do not schedule a trip with Ulinda Safari's.
