Kit Pearson Kit Pearson was born in Edmonton Alberta in 1947, April 30th. She later moved to places such as Vancouver, British Columbia. Kit used to work as a librarian but then later took up writing. With her writing she won such awards as the Mr. Cristy Book Award and the Canadian Library Association Book Award for young people.
