Founded in 1968, the Society of Pediatric Psychology (SPP) provides a forum for professionals interested in health care for children and their families. The field of pediatric psychology is defined by the concerns of psychologists and allied professionals who work in interdiciplinary settings such as children's hospitals, developmental clinics, pediatric or medical group practices, as well as traditional clinical child or academic arenas.
