Agricultural and Food Policy Analysis
The Agricultural and Food Policy Center at Texas A&M University conducts analyses of the impacts of alternative farm programs and macro-economic policies on farmers, agribusiness, taxpayers, and consumers. Two computer models, AG-GEM and FLIPSIM, have been developed and are used by scientists in AFPC to provide quantitative answers to policy analyses. Results of AFPC policy analyses are available through on-line documents at this web site.
