For over 45 years, LA-CO has set the standard for chemical performance in the plumbing industry. It all began in 1952 when LA-CO created the FIRST non-toxic, non-acid soldering flux paste that was completely safe for the health of the plumber. 1959 saw the development of our first pipe thread sealant, Pipe-Tite Paste, followed in 1969 with the introduction of our Slic-Tite Paste. Today LA-CO products are sold around the world through a network of Distributors. LA-CO products have earned certifications from UL, ULC, UPC, CSA and NSF. Our products are designed to be safe for the user as well as the environment.
