A bit of history: on board the USS Mallory 1918-1919 In 1997, shortly after my mother passed away, I discovered that my parents had been in possession of a photo album belonging to my father's parents, Virgil & Millie Brooks. Perusal of this photo album revealed that roughly the first half of the album were pictures Virgil had taken during his tour of duty on the USS Mallory in the late 19-teens.
