The National Center for Remanufacturing and Resource Recovery provides technical assistance and applied research and development to the remanufacturing industry and manufacturers interested in remanufacturing and resource recovery techniques. Our goal is to provide effective tools and solutions which are both economically and environmentally sound.

The Chelsea Center is part of the University of Massachusetts. It was formed through the STrategic EnviroTechnology Partnership (STEP) Program, a partnership between the University, the state Executive Office of Environmental Affairs, and the Massachusetts Office of Business Development.
