NOLS is a wilderness education school offering expedition length courses in eight countries. The site includes course information, minimum impact techniques, wilderness first aid, and research reports.

The Wilderness Medicine Institute provides wilderness medicine training for outdoor professionals. WMI offers courses throughout the western United States including: Wilderness First Aid, Wilderness First Responder and Wilderness Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). WMI's certification is universally recognized by outdoor programs, including NOLS and Outward Bound.
