The Center for Advanced Spatial Technologies (CAST) is an organization within the University of Arkansas that has brought together researchers dealing with the fields of gis, gps, archeology, geoscienses, etc...to develop and maintain information for the scientific community.

During the last five years, the Laboratory has completed a number of projects that developed new Remote Sensing and GIS methods for Natural Resources applications. The products of this research have pioneered new methods in Remote Sensing classification and GIS model development.
