The International Microelectronics And Packaging Society (IMAPS) is a society dedicated to the advancement and growth of the use of microelectronics and electronic packaging through professional and public education, the dissemination of information and the promotion of the Society's portfolio of technologies.

The Lightning Protection Institute provides information on lightning safety and lightning protection systems for commercial and residential structures.

The New England Chapter of IMAPS, formed in 1970 and chartered in 1972, is the largest chapter in the United States, indeed, in the entire society. Our current membership is approximately 600 people and growing steadily. We also have 75+ corporate members and that number, is growing.
