The Society for Adolescent Medicine, established in 1968, promotes research and disseminates information on adolescent medicine to interested organizations and professionals. It holds one scientific meeting a year, identifies careers in adolescent medicine, and helps plan and coordinate professional education in the field. International Association for Adolescent Health
