The Association was formed from the desires of a small group of amateurs interested in furthering their knowledge in computers and radio. Now the numbers fluctuate between 30-50 members. V.A.R.P.A. is an informal gathering of amateurs who give financial and moral support to keep a club BBS and it's associated networks going. In return, some packet specialists assist other amateurs by holding seminars at each meeting usually held on the last Sunday of each month (excluding statutory holidays).
